Macbeth changed considerably throughout the course of this play. When his life was finally ended, what do you think his final words would have been to the audience? This soliloquy should be written from Macbeth’s perspective and have some sort of end rhyme in the piece. It is up to you to choose the rhyme scheme.
The soliloquy should be at least 12 lines long and convey emotions experienced by Macbeth within his last minutes.

The Canterbury Tales are tales meant to incite deep conversations about what is right and wrong in society. Many of the people who read the Canterbury Tales miss out on the true meaning behind a lot of the tales. The Pardoner wanted to remind people to not be greedy and the Wife of Bath tries to persuade members of the opposite sex to treat women with respect and let them choose their own destiny. Answer the two questions below.
We listened to two of the raps in class to help us to understand the tales in a new way. Do you think that the raps helped you to understand the tales? Why or why not? (Answer in at least 4 sentences.)
If you were on a pilgrimage like the people of the Canterbury Tales, what kind of story do you think you would have told and why? (Answer in at least 4 sentences.)

Today President Obama plans to speak to the students of America. Other Presidents have addressed students, but only during an evening time slot. All across the nation, teachers, parents, administrators, and students will pause to listen to the President speak.
There are many people who are concerned over President Obama addressing students. For example, I updated my Facebook statust this morning at about 6:45 am to read “I wonder what President Obama will have to say to our students today… hmmm…” and since then about 20 posts have been made- in less than an hour! It is a contentious issue for the President to address students within the school day. What do you think about a standing President talking to students during a school day?
I have rewritten this post about 10 times to attempt to leave out my political views, but that does not mean that you need to do so. Below are three articles from reliable news sources that I would like you to read through. When complete, please develop your own opinion about President Obama’s address to the students that you will be listening to in just a few hours. (Do not consider that you are ‘getting out of’ class to listen to this speech.) Remember, this is your opinion, and it cannot be wrong, but you also need to follow basic grammar and sentence structure rules.
Your target for this writing assignment is ten sentences.
